About me
My name is Amy Ndiaye
Fashion runs through my veins.
My journey began long before I entered a design studio, shaped by generations of craftsmanship. From my great-grandmother, a skilled seamstress, to my grandmother who taught me how to sew, I grew up surrounded by fabrics, techniques, and the quiet power of making by hand.
Creativity was always encouraged. My mother nurtured my imagination, while my experience as a child model allowed me to see fashion from a different perspective, understanding not only how garments are made, but how they come to life on the body and in front of the camera. On my father’s side, custom-made clothing was a way of life, instilling in me a deep appreciation for tailoring, fit, and personal style.
Alongside this heritage, I have spent the past six years studying fashion and creation, building a strong foundation in design, construction, and conceptual thinking. Today, as a fashion technology student, I explore the intersection of heritage and innovation. My work combines traditional craftsmanship with digital tools, smart textiles, and sustainable design solutions. Fashion is not just my field of study, it’s a legacy I continue to evolve.
